The Story
IGNITE HER,SHE BUILDS.
Give her a chance to learn. Give her a chance to earn. Give her a chance to build.
For many girls in Wakiso, becoming a mother too early can interrupt a journey that had barely begun. School stops, opportunities become fewer, and financial dependence can grow, but an interrupted journey does not have to become a finished story.
Through Ignite Her, She Builds, The Anny Tibs Foundation is supporting teenage mothers and young women in Wakiso with pathways back to education, practical skills, livelihoods, health and life skills support. We believe that with the right opportunity, she can build a different future for herself and her child.
CHOOSE HOW YOU WANT TO IGNITE HER
1. UGX 2.4M; SEND HER BACK TO SCHOOL
Help sponsor the average Programme investment for one girl returning to formal education, including school fees, uniform, learning materials and related support. Give her another chance to learn.
2. UGX 1.875M; HELP HER BUILD A LIVELIHOOD
Help sponsor the average livelihood training and starter-pack investment for one young mother, giving her practical skills and tools to begin building an income. Give her a skill. Give her a pathway to independence.
3. UGX 360K ;GIVE HER THE TOOLS TO BUILD
Support one young woman’s six-month life-skills journey, covering learning around financial literacy, health, legal rights, digital skills, leadership and wellbeing because building a future requires more than a skill.
4. SPONSOR HER COMPLETE JOURNEY UGX 4M
For UGX 4 million, you can sponsor one young woman’s complete six-month journey through the Programme.
And if you cannot sponsor a full pathway, every contribution matters. Your gift can join with others to help make these opportunities possible.
WHY THIS MATTERS
We are not only responding to early motherhood, we are working to break the cycle. For girls who can return to school, we help reopen the door to education. For young mothers ready to earn, we provide pathways to skills and livelihoods. And through our school prevention programme, we take what we learn into communities to help prevent more girls from experiencing the same interruption.
We have already assessed 83 young women and know the needs we are working to address. Your support can help turn an interrupted story into a new beginning.
